According to the J.D. Power 2015 Vehicle Dependability Study, Toyota leads the competition with seven best in segment honors.
We learned a few pretty incredible facts after the results of the recent J.D. Power 2015 Vehicle Dependability Study, now in its 26th year. First, we learned that vehicle dependability is now largely based on problems with in-vehicle technology, specifically voice-activated features and Bluetooth connectivity. Second, we learned that almost 60% of vehicle owners who do not experience any problems with their vehicle will most likely purchase the same brand again. And thirdly, 15% of new vehicle buyers avoid a model because it lacks the latest technological features. That’s four times as many people as last year. In a day and age when auto manufacturers have managed to perfect so many parts of the automobile, it’s technology that is making or breaking them.
