Advanced Safety Features Developed By Toyota

Toyota has begun rolling out some truly advanced safety features

We’ve been talking about safety here on our blog for quite some time. We aren’t just tooting our horns over here, either. There is actually a lot happening on the forefront of vehicle safety, and Toyota is behind some of the industry’s biggest advancements. Toyota has begun rolling out some truly advanced safety features for years, and in the coming model years even more safety technology is slated to be folded into the latest models. Many of our Toyota models already have a variety of Advanced Safety Features Developed By Toyota.

If you’ve been keeping up with our blog, you’ve already seen how the 2015 Toyota Sienna is the safest minivan out there. You also probably now know just how much cutting-edge, futuristic technology has been developed by Toyota over the years. You are also likely to be up to speed on how once again this year 12 Toyota models were awarded the Top Safety Pick honor by the IIHS. But we have failed to really detail some of the best, latest, most-advanced safety features coming down the pipe. Actually, all of these already exist as available features on many of our current 2015 Toyota models.

Toyota’s Blind Spot Monitor

Blind Spot Monitor is becoming fairly well known throughout the industry, and it’s becoming one of those features many drivers can’t imagine living without. quickly becoming essential for drivers of vehicles both big and small. The 2015 Toyota Tundra and the 2015 Toyota Highlander both offer Blind Spot Monitor.

Toyota’s Pre-Collision System

One of the most incredible features being built for vehicles today is Toyota’s Pre-Collision System. Miraculously, it is expected to be available on all Toyota models by 2017, and vehicles like the 2015 Toyota Camry and the 2015 Toyota Sienna are already making vehicles safe with this feature.

Toyota’s Lane Departure Alert

Lane Departure Alert is now popping up on vehicles all throughout the industry, but none work as seamlessly as Toyota’s to help you stay in line. Nearly all of the 2015 Toyota models come with a Lane Departure Alert option, like the 2015 Toyota RAV4 and the 2015 Toyota Prius.

Toyota’s Adaptive Cruise Control

Toyota’s video for Adaptive Cruise Control is more detailed than the ones above, but it’s pretty amazing that a car can  rest. But it is understandably a more involved process. A variety of vehicles in the Toyota lineup offer Adaptive Cruise Control, like the 2015 Toyota Avalon and the 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser.

It’s important to mention that we are one of the only dealerships around with a 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser on site. They are an ultra luxury SUV model with every bell and whistle and worthy of a test drive if you’ve never been in one. Most dealerships offer them as a special order only. It’s here and waiting for you, along with a variety of other models that are all some of the safest in their respective classes. Feel free to schedule a test drive with any Toyota model that speaks to you.
