The new 2019 Toyota Yaris has a great number of specs, safety and technology features to interest potential buyers. But what are they? Here’s what we know.
Engine Specs & Trims
The 2019 Toyota Yaris has 3 trim levels; L, LE, and the XLE. The XLE is actually a new trim for the 2019 Yaris that you can’t get in previous Yaris models. You can get a 1.5L with a 6-speed automatic transmission that will give you an EPA-estimated 32 miles per gallon in the city and 40 on the highway, which means you’ll have a combined 35 mpg.
For those who enjoy a vehicle with a sporty look, the Yaris is a solid option with the LE and XLE having a 16-inch alloy wheel, MacPherson struts, a chrome-tipped exhaust, and a shark-fin antenna available.

Safety & Technology
There are some pretty awesome standard technologies for the LE and XLE trims in the 2019 Toyota Yaris, including heated side mirrors, LED turn signals, and the Smart Key entry with Push Button Start. Of course, there are other features that you can opt for as well, including rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED headlights, and leatherette seats.
The Yaris wouldn’t be a modern Toyota vehicle without the Toyota Safety Sense, so you can expect to see it on the 2019 Yaris, as well. The safety features of the Yaris include things like the Dynamic Stability Control, Brake Assist, and Low-Speed Pre-Collision System, to name a few. Those with children, or babysit, will be glad to know that the Yaris has the LATCH, or Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children, standard on all trims to keep the kiddos safe.
We can expect to see the 2019 Toyota Yaris sometime in fall 2018, so keep a lookout for this exciting 2019 model! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us here at Dan Cava’s Toyota!
